Holly Beach

Ahead you will be entering Holly Beach. Prior to Hurricane Rita in 2005, this was a resort area known as the “Cajun Riviera.”  Cabins, trailers and beach homes crowded together along the wide sandy beach. Generations of families made Holly Beach their traditional vacation destination.   Holly Beach has and will be rebuilt many times. But the joy of soaking up the sun while smelling the salt air, shelling, building sandcastles, surf fishing, and picnicking along the Gulf of Mexico is a constant for those who hear the siren song of the beach.  Feel free to join them for swimming, surf fishing, shelling or just a picnic set to the music of the waves breaking on the shore.   To hear more about Holly Beach and how the people hear rebuilt after the devastation of Hurricane Audrey in 1957, please pull into a safe parking area and select the video from your device.
